Troy Makes An Offer 22nd July 10

TROY Sharpe reckons Berella Rihanna is just his type of greyhound.
Sharpe trains the daughter of Bombastic Shiraz-Berella Xena who proved too strong for her FFA (520m) rivals at Albion Park on Thursday night for her 19th victory.
She scored by two and a quarter lengths in 30.52 beating Late Show Lee with a half length to Voodoo Prince a much improved run for third.
Sharpe has been training Berella Rihanna for the past few months and the bigch’s form has been exceptional.
“Laureene Renner (her owner) is thinking of leasing out some of their broodbitches,” said Troy. “I’m keen to do a deal with her for Berella Rihanna.”
While Troy is already mapping out a breeding career for the bitch, he is first looking at her racing career which is likely to include a tilt at the Group 3 Townsville Cup.
“I’ve already organized with Nathan and Rhonda Goodwin to stay with them for the Cup series,” said Troy of the Townsville plans.
“She has already been to Townsville for the Cup series last year (when trained by Ron Ball). She’s a great traveler and a flight to Townsville won’t worry her.”
Sharpe is in awe of the bitch who has won four and run five seconds in her past 10 Albion Park starts.

“She gets nothing done to her week in and week out,” said Troy. “She’s so laid back and that’s fantastic for travelling.”
The Townsville Cup series will be run late in August and is a Group 3 series this year with the winner taking home $16,000.
Voodoo Prince led clearly around the first turn with Berella Rihanna quickly up on his outside to put pressure on him.
The bitch straightened in front and then went away to the line.
Late Show Lee rattled home late to get second.
