About Sharpe Greyhound Racing Kennels
At Sharpe Racing Kennels it's a family affair with my wife Sonya and our two daughters Abbi and Demi along with me running the complex, without the support and help SHARPE RACING KENNELS would not exist.

I got into the sport over 20 years ago; it all came about when a few mates who owned a bitch offered me a 25% share. She started racing a few months later, won her first ever race start in Toowoomba and I have been hooked ever since.

Around 5 years ago I decided to give greyhound racing my full attention, as at this stage I was eating, sleeping and breathing greyhounds and this is what I had always wanted to do.

Once you have tasted that winning feeling you just want more and more success, so this was the obvious next stepping stone.

Already I have full-filled one of my lifetime ambitions with becoming a full time greyhound trainer and my other ambitions can now be realized as I hope to have a long and successful career in the sport at the top level.

In this sport I admire anyone that has a go as it's a tough sport with ups and downs along the way. Trainers like Ron Ball - he has been at the top of game for so long, Graham Bate, the Wheeler family - because their success is beyond any ones wildest dreams, Tony Brett - what he has achieved already in the sport is what gives me the drive and makes me hungry to succeed in this industry.
